Suspended Colossus

from Binary Enigma by ZeTA

lyrics

Above the Alaskan NightSky
Twin Cylindrical bodies assemble in formation
Rectangular arrays of white-yellow beacons
Become resplendent luminous

Disregard for inertia
They phase through the airspace

Maneuvering in front of me
Heat permeates through my windshield from the objects glow
Without warning, they vanish into the east horizon

They are usurped by a pale band of light
A colossus able to suspend its titan size and float through the stratosphere
An airborne metropolis, spectacle of scientific feat
Beyond what humankind can ever achieve

I descend to deviate confrontation
Yet the object maintains closure
Disappearing from physical sight
But still present through radar detection
Finally, to disappear as if just an illusion
